Craft CMS

ExpressionEngine has been my goto CMS for quite some time now.

But this site is running Statamic (a flat-file CMS) and now Craft CMS has entered the fray as well.

So why look at either of these options compared to the other market offerings?

Well both Craft & Statamic have been developed by the teams that build some of the finest add-ons for ExpressionEngine (Structure and Pixel & Tonic). Having used their add-ons for a number of years, I know how much effort will have gone into their respective products (certainly I've been using Statamic for a while and was in on the Craft CMS beta).

Does this mean I'll be abandoning ExpressionEngine? Not at all? EE is still a very mature platform that allows ghijk to deliver a myriad of different project types.

That said, I'm definitely excited about the future of our work and the great tools we have to facilitate development.

Definitely checkout Craft CMS. There's a free version and if you need more functionality (user groups, multi-section, S3 support, multi-language) , you can add commercial packages (if you wanted it all $350 USD).
