This website is now around 2 years old and it was time for a change.
I always find designing for myself quite a challenge and being honest, I'm still not 100% with it. The site will grow as I add my service offerings and showcase the work I've been doing.
I've been doing a lot of work under NDA so it won't find its way onto my site (however if you're interested in working with me, I'd be happy to take you through that work over a tea or coffee).
A couple of projects I can tell you about is the Charle Rennie Mackintosh Font Company site, which got me into web dev in the lates 90s and also Greenview church in Glasgow, the site that first got me into ExpressionEngine really.
This was the first site I ever did for my dad's successful Charles Rennie Mackintosh Font. The new site is powered by ExpressionEngine and utilises the CartThrob 2 addon. The design here was a little tricky and I tried to keep with a CRM theme. We stripped back the content for this version and really just gave an overview of the font but showcase the various fonts using self-hosted web fonts. You can check some of the snippets on Dribbble.
Going through the redesign and development process for Greenview nice as an indicator of how far I've come with ExpressionEngine over the years. I released all of the templates for the original site over at Mike Boyink's site Train EE.
The redesign kicked off back in December and has been simmering on the back burner but with the church objectives clearly defined, the new site will be an improvement on what I think is an already great church website. Again snippets are available for view on Dribbble.
Both of these sites should be online in the coming weeks, I'll probably do a more in-depth break down of both sites post launch.
