Greenview is my own church in the south side of Glasgow in a place called Pollokshaws. Before our family joined Greenview, the website was one of the first ports of call. I wanted to check out what the church believed, what kind of activities they had etc.
So, out went the old website and in came a new standards compliant set of templates powered by ExpressionEngine. The homepage gives an introduction about the church as well as pulling a random ministry (called activity in this instance), it highlights details about the main services held at Greenview during the week as well as pulling the next 5 things off the calendar.
Other new features include the ability to listen to sermons online as well as the weekly podcast. Greenview member John Thomson now has a blog on the website allowing fast, effective distribution of his popular articles.
